This tube is sometimes used as an alternative to the straight seam welded tube when the weld is not required. The removing the welded stage and the post plating of the tube allows for a cost savings to the customer. The process begins with raw coil that is perforated and cut to the blank size required, then rolled or formed into the finished tube.
